DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT FOR JOB APPLICANTS
- Identity of The Data Controller
As RÖLE TEKNİK ELEKTRİK SANAYİ VE DIŞ TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (TIN: 7352037219) (“Röle Teknik” or “Company”) residing at “Şerifali Mahallesi, Mevdudi Sokak, No:16 Ümraniye/İSTANBUL” we pay the utmost attention to the security of your personal data. With this awareness, we give a particular importance to process, preserve and delete the personal data of job applicants who applies to work at Röle Teknik in accordance with Law no. 6698 (“PDPL”or “the Law”), secondary legislations (regulation, declaration, circular) and binding resolutions of Personal Data Protection Committee. As a result of our sense of responsibility, we, as the “Data Controller” process your personal data considering legal limitations and purposes mentioned below; by providing all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure the appropriate level of security, in order to prevent unlawful processing of personal data and unlawful access to personal data and to ensure the protection of personal data.
- Personal Data Collection Methods, Cause of Actions and Purposes
Your personal data is collected by the Human Resources personnel of Röle Teknik with automatic and non-automatic methods under condition of being part of a data recording system in oral, written or electronic media, by means of e-mail, phone, information provided from the website, job application platforms and directly in oral or writing.
In this regard, your personal data written below are processed in accordance with the general basic principles set out in Article 4 of the PDPL and in connection with the following processing purposes, in a limited and measured manner by matching of the cause of actions:
- Your personal data in the category of Identification consisting of your name, surname, date of birth, driving license and Contact Information consisting of your telephone number and e-mail address are processed within the purposes stated below;
To be able to carry out job application and advanced recruitment processes, to carry out interview processes, to carry out selection and placement processes of candidates, to contact you again and meet your requests in case the application results positively, to carry out human resources business and business continuity activities, to update the information transmitted to us, to evaluate your resume and contact you for a suitable position that may arise in the future if the recruitment is not achieved;
Pursuant to the cause of actions stated in Article 5/2/c-d of the Law, which obligates processing of personal data of the parties to a contract, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract and if the personal data have been made public by the data subject itself.
- Your personal data in the category of Personal and Professional Experience consisting of your educational information, courses, trainings and seminars you have attended, work experience, suitability for the job, military service status, your hobbies (not mandatory), computer programs/software you use and foreign languages are processed within the purposes stated below;
Determining your suitability for the job including interview processes, ensuring the development and maintenance of human resources policies, your wage expectation and carrying out the wage policy, planning human resources processes, carrying out assignment processes;
Pursuant to the cause of actions stated in Article 5/2/c-d-f of the Law, which obligates processing of personal data of the parties to a contract, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract, if the personal data have been made public by the data subject himself/herself and for legitimate interests of data controller without violating fundamental rights and freedoms of data subject.
- In case of a visit to our physical premises and facilities, your personal data in the category of Visual and Audible Records consisting of your video recordings and photos, and Physical Location Security consisting of your entrance-exit registers are processed within the purposes stated below;
Recording footages with cameras in case our headquarters is visited due to security applications and keeping visitor records for tracking visitor entrances and exits,
Pursuant to the cause of actions stated in Article 5/2/f of the Law, which obligates processing of personal data for legitimate interests of data controller without violating fundamental rights and freedoms of data subject.
In addition, the responsibility for informing your references about the personal data of your references that you will share with Röle Teknik and obtaining their explicit consent, if necessary, belongs entirely to the candidate. It is essential that Röle Teknik does not collect your data other than your sufficient personal data to evaluate your suitability for the job and position. Therefore, we recommend not to include personal data other than those mentioned above and those required for your suitability for the position, especially sensitive personal data (such as health information, membership to associations, foundations, trade unions, etc.) in your applications to our Company and in the resumes, except for the situations where explicit consent is obtained by you.
- Transfer of Personal Data and Purposes of the Transfer
Your personal data may be transferred to Röle Teknik subsidiaries and/or partners, to authorized public institutions and organizations for the fulfillment of legal obligations if necessary and processed by Human Resources employees and managers of the Company; within above-mentioned purposes and in accordance with the conditions specified in Article 8/2/a of the Law, which indicates processing of your personal data for legitimate interests of data controller without violating fundamental rights and freedoms of data subject. Your related personal data is not transferred abroad.
- Rights of the Data Owners
You may apply to Röle Teknik at any time and request to exercise your rights arising from the Article 11 of the PDPL. You may submit your requests regarding your rights and the enforcement of the Law by filling and signing out the application form that you can obtain from us or from www.roleteknik.com.tr and send it with wet-ink signature to “Şerifali Mah. Mevdudi Sok. No: 16 Ümraniye/İstanbul” via notary public, with return receipt requested or with your personal application or after signing the application form with your mobile signature, secure electronic signature, you can send it to [email protected] using your KEP address or your Registered Electronic Mail (REM) address in Company’s database.
As the personal data owner, in the application you will make to exercise your rights mentioned above and which contains the explanations regarding the right you have request to exercise; the requested matter needs to be clear and understandable, the subject needs to be related to yourself and in case you are acting on behalf of someone else, you will need to submit your special power of attorney certified by the notary in this regard.
In accordance with the “Communiqué on The Principles and Procedures for the Request to Data Controller”, it is mandatory to include name-surname, signature, Turkish Identification (“ID”) number (for foreigners, nationality, passport number or ID number if any), residential or workplace address for notice, e-mail address, telephone and fax number and the subject of the request in your applications. Applications that do not fulfill such elements will be rejected by Röle Teknik or directed to the valid application channels.
Röle Teknik reserves the right to make changes in this Data Protection Statement, due to the Law, secondary legislations and committee resolutions. Changes in the Data Protection Statement and the current text will enter into force immediately as of the date of notification.
